• School medical room : The school medical room takes care of the first Aid requirements of the students under a qualified and experienced staff. It has beds for the sick student to rest until his-her parent picks him/her up. Students who require medical attention during school hours are sent by the Cteacher to M.I Room with slip.

SGSDIS TRANSPORT

Admission to SGSD School does not automatically ensure a place on a particular bus. Students can avail the school transport facilit subject to availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are drawn up in advance and the parents should consult the schoo transport in charge for necessary details.

Bus Rules:

• Children travelling by school bus must carry their school pass with them daily, signed and dated and produced by them on demand.
• Children using the school bused are expected to be at the bus stops at least five minutes before the arrival time of the buses.
• The children should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
• The front of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.
• No student should come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.
• All the students must occupy seats immediately after boarding their buses or as allotted by the staff-In charge.
• Bus captain is assigned to help maintain discipline. Most buses have teachers.
• No part of the child body should be outside the moving bus.
• Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.
• The drivers are authorized to stop buses at designated stops only, unless otherwise directed by the bus teacher. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and the safety of all bus commuters.
• Students are not allowed to change their bus route under any circumstances (e.g.) for visiting friend or relatives. If not using the bus on any particular day, parents are requested to personally collect their child on time and also inform the transport in charge.
• Indisciplined behavior in the school bus will render a student ineligible to use school transport.
• There can be hike in school bus fare subject to hike in fuel price.
