Biography of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji
Sant Gurbaksh Singh, The founder of, Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust, dedicated his entire life in Service of humanity and particularly the sikh community of J&K State. Born in Muzaffrabad area, now in POK, in the year 1917, was a great visionary, a towering personality committed to the principals of Sikhism and embedded to serve humanity by way of basic principals of Sewa Simran and Parupkar. He left for heavenly abode in the year 2012 after handing over the reigns of the dera to Sant Tejwant Singh, who has carried forward the vision of Sant Gurbaksh Singh: As a mark of service to the Society he has opened SGSD International School at Domana, a glowing tribute to late Sant Ji. This is just the beginning for Dera Sant Pura Trust and will continue to serve the community with devotion and dedication.
The School will celebrate its foundation day on the third Sunday of February every year in memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji.
The School will also observe the Shaheedi Diwas of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji every year.
